MAYHEM #1: May 3, 2014
Thanks to trailbuilders, hidden and known, who made this race so glorious. Also, Thanks to Top Gear for the swag and the Top Gear Beer -- which was quickly distributed throughout the slag-pile podium steps.

Mayhem, on Schedule
Join us: riders, fun-lovers, huckers, weight-wienies, hecklers, hoisters, laughers, and all.
We're having a few good, ol' fashioned bike races in the Slags area near Frick Park. With the addition of several new trails there, we'll be riding on the best single-track in town.
The idea here is to highlight the fun parts of competition, gather around the awesome community of Pittsburgh riders, and get our legs warmed up after a long winter.
Laud us on the Book of Faces.
Race Dates
2014
May 3, 10, & 24
11 am
Race Format
Depending on racer turnout, we will run 1-, 2-, and/or 3- lap races with a "short track" format of approximately 4 miles.
These races will be free and open to all riders, who assume all the horrible risks of MAYHEM and mountain biking upon arrival on the trail.
We do have several "sponsors" lined up. However, due to the unsanctioned nature of these races, they asked to remain unnamed, and will remain unofficial. That said, the winners of these races will probably go home with some booty.
Logistics
We will all meet up to race in the field just down from the dirt jumps.
Here: 40.421501,-79.908868
Parking: Park legally.
